Hey & Happy New Year ALL!!!!!


I just watched a movie, called Regarding Henry...interestingly enough it was almost over when I came in from my doctor's appointment today, so I restarted it...not really knowing why. But wow, I'm glad I did.

You know, with this illness there is so much of me that's gone..my memories aren't there in the same ways. I find, more times than I like, people reminding me of things I don't remember saying or even experiencing. It's more frustrating than words can say. These things are easy to get lost into. This movie was such a phenomenal reminder of a fundamental truth, "No one can dictate or determine who you are but YOU."I love making jewelry. The creative process is something that I enjoy getting lost in. Creating these pieces with semi precious stones that carry meaning, and energy, and even healing. This is the beauty of utilizing semi precious stones! The stones are from the earth, not tampered with in the way so many things that come from our earth are. Including us :) 

That being said, since I truly enjoy this gift, jewelry is something I'll probably always do. It's very much like painting, which I also do at times….you see something in your mind's eye and you get to creating! When seeing the finished process of what your energy has manifested, it's amazing.....& fulfilling!!!
